Stayed in a double room 3 metro stations from Lille Flandres train station at 35€ per room per night at Hotel Formule 1.

Flunch 6,95€ beef steak with free flow vegetables. Delicious french food!

Took a bus to Völs Ost and met up with my friend who played host to me for 2 nights. Had a relaxing evening as it was raining.

Drove over the border to Bozen/Bolzano.

Had a nice Italian lunch menu for 10€ at the bus station.

Walked around the old town

Drove back to Austria, made a stop at Brenner. Of particular attention is the outlet shopping centre just at the Italian side of the border.

Went for breakfast at Backer Ruetz in Kematen in Tirol! Good bread and refillable coffee!

Drove on further to Imst and bought a single ride (10,30€) for the Alpine Coaster Imst. Took a chairlift to the top, waited for our turn and then enjoyed the ride down!

Drove back to Innsbruck and thanked Stefan for the wonderful weekend

Walked along Kaiserstraße, Juliuspropromenade, Schönbornstraße, Marktplatz, Langgasse to Alte Mainbrücke

Walked across Mainbrücke, looks like the one in Prague. Then climbed up the Marienberg to the fortress.

Came down another way and tasted grapes along the way

Next up, went to Würzburger Hofbräukeller ordered:

2) 2x Radler 0,5 L 2,90€

Of course some stray wasps had to join in
